Interesting, he says that he hopes that Freeman or Fickel will reach out to him. He also said that there was no bonding on the team and didn't have the fine structure of coaching.

i wouldn't doubt it. he was suspended for the oklahoma game. our seats aren't too far from the uc bench area. all season, when the defense was off the field, pace pretty much hung by himself. at times, he'd be at the wall, handing towels, etc to the fans / family he was talking to at the time. didn't really seem to be "into" the games. at halftime, he'd hang back on the bench, and then head to the locker room well after the rest of the team. whatever his issues, if he would've done that crap again next year, i'm glad he's gone. if one of your "leaders" acts like that, you don't need him.

Good point, but Sauce is a once in a decade or longer player. Truly a UC all time great.

He was nowhere near as good as his brother, at least without his brother attracting so much attention. Frankly, I was not impressed by his play this year.

DeShawn made a ton of plays, and chased down many long gains from behind. He is a good player. The other teams knew where he was on the field, tried to avoid him, and he still got the job done. A change in scenery will be good for him and UC.

I might be wrong but mostly what I'm seeing here is Fickell recruits, which I expected, and transfers that couldn't break into the rotation going into the portal.
