Have no idea if it was coaching, talent, or, probably, a combination thereof, but the UC secondary this past season was an absolute disaster - certainly can't get upset about anyone of them leaving - including the coach!

Carrico is an ILB. Very crowded at tOSU but he was a 4 star 7th ranked ILB in High School.J. James a local kid and center is in as well.

QB Dillon Gabriel (3 years at UCF, 2 years at Oklahoma) apparently has eligibility and intends to hit the portal again

Only if he can be a graduate transfer. UC’s history with 2 time transfers is not good. Dude can play though.

Speaking of tOSU transfer. Yes, there is a connection with Coombs, but his miss on them got him fired. Perhaps an upgrade, but so short of a few years ago defensive backfield.
