    Bowl Season

Rabbit Season! Duck Season! Silly Season!

There have been some fairly wild bowl games so far including whatever that edible Pop Tarts Bowl mascot was last night.

UK just snatched defeat from the jaws of victory against Clemson. Seems appropriate for the Gator Bowl. Hopefully TaxSlayer didn't pour CPAs all over Dabo.

Memphis is off to a fast start on ISU in the Liberty Bowl Game. Why is the Liberty Bowl not in Philly exactly?

Oregon St., playing with no coach and no QB among others, is getting pasted by ND right now

I wonder if the Florida AG will contact the CFP committee and offer an apology, while withdrawing the lawsuit. It looks like they got it right ... in spades. Like about 63 of them. That's a worse butt-kicking than the Cats took at the hands of Tim Tebow and Company in the Orange Bowl.

The Cats had their starters. There is just no comparison anymore, but yes, you are right, it was a worse beating.

The Tebow game was actually at the Sugar Bowl. Yes, we had our starters, but the coaching staff had deserted us for notre $hame. There was no discipline and the team was out late, partying on Bourbon Street the night before the game. It was a recipe for disaster. LOL

FSU had only 29 scholarship players available. 13 starters opted out of playing. Not saying FSU would have won the game had those players chose to play. But it is unfair to base their season on the bowl game.

I hate to post this but Ex-Bearcat Will Pauling is having himself a day in the ReliaQuest Bowl . 3 for 125 and 2 TDs

He played progressively better as the season went on. I figured he will be a big part of their offense going forward.

You would think a Power 5 school like Iowa would have (at least) a serviceable backup QB...this offense is tough to watch...amazing they won as many games as they did relying on their defense.

Iowa was tough to watch on offense all year. They benefited greatly from being in the weak west division. All of the west teams will struggle for the next years because of the B1G dropping division play starting next year. This will also include Wisconsin.

Did you just use Iowa and Offense in the same sentence?

Is Penix the same QB, UC beat when he was at Indiana? He was not that good of QB.

Penix also had some injury issues at IU.
