This isn't UC, but I just found out that Kansas is doing a stadium renovation complete with a entertainment district and convention center around it. They will split their home games this season between two different stadiums. They've got two home games at Sporting KC's soccer field and four at Arrowhead Stadium. They'll be back in Lawrence in 2025.

There has been a lot of discussion in one of FB groups. I guess this will look a lot like the Iowa State stadium and surroundings. Not quite a Wrigleyville vibe, but a collection of entertainment options to enhance the tailgate experience for those who don't have trailers or big tents. I haven't paid much attention to those discussions, but I'm curious how much business/traffic they will get when there isn't a game.
