I agree about last year - an awful lot of people left early. it'll be record driven - the 'cats win, nippert stays pretty full, and people may stay until late in the games. if they're losing, for the late season games, lets just say that there'll be room to spread out on the bleachers.

All games were 90-100% full to start, and the crowd would thin if the score got lopsided. Glad to see the interest is still there. Let's hope it is still there in November. Once gone, will be hard to get back.

I was at every game. That wasn't the case. Nippert was close to full each time, at least until the students bowed out early, per usual.

There was a reason for that

that's something of a happy surprise - i thought that a lot of the bandwagon fans would've jumped off after last year

The NIppert Stadium diagram showed that there probably are around 300 tickets left for Towson through UC's service. I didn't check for the Pitt game. There also undoubtedly are tickets available through the secondary markets. But, of course, UC already sold those as season tickets.

Scheduling guru Matt Sarzyniak just pointed out that when the conference schedule drops, it's going to be very confusing for Big XII fans. The conference has chosen to list the starting times in the home teams time zone instead of listing everything in Central Time like they've done in the past.

So for those bad at math, Utah, Colorado, and BYU are all currently in MDT which is 2 hours behind EDT. Arizona and ASU are in MST which is 3 hours behind. The state of Arizona does not use Daylight Savings Time. As a result of that, Arizona and ASU will be 2 hours behind during the majority of basketball season but not all all of it.

    Everybody got that?

For those who are UCATS, Away ticket requests are available for all games at GoBearcats.com . Colorado on Oct 26th looks like a good one to fly in for. Even if you get snowed in, you get to look at the mountains for an extra day or so .
