Well-balanced teams should put up lots of points on the Buffs just like last season.
I don't think too many B12 defenses are going to let a receiver split a two-deep with neither safety picking him up. That 69-yard TD was avoidable.

NDSU is a great D1-AA football school, but they lacked the speed of a good D-1A team. Colorado is a team UC can beat.

One of the conference Non conference games this week is West Virginia vs Penn St. in Morgantown. Apparently because of a live Pat McAfee show and other pregame things, Morgantown schools and WVU have cancelled classes tomorrow because of game traffic. That's a new one for me.

Per Sam Khan Jr at the Athletic, Texas Tech announced this morning that it's going to an official injury report much like the NFL. Big Ten and MAC have done this already. Injuries go on the report before the weekly press conference and players that are not playing will be announced 45 minutes before game time.

Not a ton going on here except for WVU at Penn St. However If you're looking for a sneaky good game. The Fighting Deions take on NDSU on Thursday night

This crosses into so many threads on here, hopefully everybody see this. A rogue asst at Colorado has resigned after visiting Saudi Arabia to lobby the Saudi PIF for NIL money. I am not making this up.

The Athletic's Austin Mock has put out a projection on the numbers of wins for conference members. ($)

These were based on simulations run 100,000 times

He has us at 6 wins and a .5% chance to win the conference. That's good for 10th place.

With UC return the entire offensive line and bringing in some beefy backups to push them, I think we have the makings of a team that could surprise the other teams. I don't think UC will win every game, but do think they'll be closer to 8-4 than 4-8.
Regarding the point about the O-line, UC already have moved Buford inside as a backup G & installed Wilder as the starting RT. He is considered to be a better pass blocker, which was an issue in 2023.
