  • Week 1 Games Across All Conferences

Wow, are the Temple Owls bad. While the Sooners are outstanding, as expected, no FBS team should look as moribund as the Owls, particularly on offense. OU led 37-0 at the half, and it wasn't even that close. The Owls' QB was 3-for-11 with an INT and lost fumble.

Overall in the first two quarters, they amassed fewer than 100 yards and turned it over four times, including a fumble inside their own 10 just before halftime. The Sooners' scrubs got lots of playing time.

    Final: 51-3.

Who can ever forget the 81-0 massacre of UC by Penn State, 30 years ago. Bad things happen on week 1, as UC beat Louisville a week or so later.

"A witness to the pinnacle of UC Football, 2020 and 2021 seasons... not likely to ever happen again!"

Stephen F Austin played something called North American University (NAIA) on Thursday and was up 70-0 at the half, finishing at 77-0. They played the entire 2nd half on 5 minutes qtrs and a running clock. North American is out of Houston and appears to the Bishop Sycamore of college sports. They've previously lost a game to Sacramento St by a score of 91-0.

Apparently, Lakota West might be able to thrash NAU.
