Well it looks like it's going to be tall task asking this defense in stopping Scattebo.

ASU looked unstoppable on their first drive then largely hapless after that.

Simeon Coleman and Jared Bartlett have both gone to the locker room with injuries. Coleman looked like he might have separated his shoulder or something similar. Couldn't tell with Bartlett.

I hate how we play with a lead.

The ASU fans were loud today. I spoke with several of them after the game. They all came with the alumni group and are staying downtown. They were all very friendly.

We did really well here keeping him under 100.

Speaking of yardage, the announcers on the broadcast said that Kiner broke 2000 yards as a Bearcat. I'm not sure if that's correct but it might for his career

Big win for us. The offense was solid in the first half AFTER the first series that caused a bit of worry. They need to play four quarters with that intensity. Kudos to the defense for holding their offense at bay, especially their big guy. Kicking game is still problematic. How about a kicking duo - one for long ones and one for the chip shots?? The 50+ yarders are nice but we need those shorter ones that we are supposed to make.

Hopefully this win gives us momentum into the big game in Colorado.
