Bowl Projections 2024

I was there. Good game, but Utah State was not a very good team. These were the days before good players would 'sit out" bowl games.

Speaking of which, If we make a bowl game this , there are a couple of seniors I would expect to sit out. I'm thinking Corleone, Kiner, Kandra and Tinsley.

Playoffs or bust - this year and any other - watching players opt out of meaningless goofy sponsored "bowl" games just isn't any fun.

Corleone won't sit out... he is too much of a competitor and too loyal to UC.

I mean when your QB throw 3 Pick Sixs in the first half and 5 INTs total, It might have been Syracuse making themselves loook bad. I don't think I've ever seen stats on INT returns in a half like that.

Yeah, that was something else...I've seen in the pros a lot of picks (Nathan Peterman, Jameis Winston and Big Ben) but like you said the int returns were incredible. Also I think Narduzzi (like him or hate him) is an excellent defensive mind and perhaps a little underrated as a HC - or at least taken for granted by the Pitt faithful. He gets DBs into the NFL.

Could UC miss a bowl? Absolutely. I like their chances of going at least 1-4 down the stretch...

Also, he has 3-4 WVU in there (who is coming off a 45-18 loss to Kansas State)
