Colorado as of pre-game today is 4-2 (2-1 Big 12). I believe that this is a winnable game and almost a needed win. Notable games: loss to Nebraska, win against Baylor in OT, loss to Kansas State 28-31. They play today against Arizona.

This will be an interesting game. Both teams are 5-2 and in the second tier of the standings behind 7-0 ISU and BYU. This game could go a long way to determining who's got an outside shot at the conference title and would decide a head to head in case of a tie breaker. We own the head to head tiebreaker over 5-2 ASU after yesterday . ASU does not play Colorado.

I watched a little bit of Colorado yesterday and they gave Arizona all kinds of problems. Hard to tell if it was UA being bad or Colorado being good but the Buffs appear to have found a running game and a defense against the Wildcats. The running game has been atrocious most of the season and so has the defense. All-everything WR/DB Travis Hunter was nursing an injury and only played the 1st half after tweaking something. His status for the UC game is unknown right now.

For those who haven't seen Colorado, they have a trio of outstanding receivers that can all outrun the defense and Shadeur Sanders is the real deal at QB. They throw deep balls often and with success. UC's DBs are going to be tested in this one. Sanders is good enough that flushing him from the pocket isn't good enough to stop him. Fortunately this happens a lot since the Colorado OL has been absolutely horrendous so far this season. Sanders take a lot of hits but he will stand in the pocket and deliver the ball.

Going to be a late night for UC fans as this one won't finish until well after midnight

Believe we will have a very good handle on just how good, bad, or indifferent this UC team is after the Colorado trip!

This is a good breakdown. I've watched about 3/4 of Colorado's games since Prime joined as I have close family ties to the university and we have all been reinvigorated by his presence.

The O-line is surprisingly improved over last season which in turn produces "average" performances on their best days. Their rushing attack is the worst we'll see all season as the O-line gets little push and none of their current backs are home run hitters. Nonetheless, they've had a few games this season where they've been competent. They've produced less than a 1 yard/rushing attempt in both of their two losses, which should give some insight into the primary way to slow their offense down.

Shedeur is an elite pure passer - point blank. He has 5 receivers who I'd consider "really good" with Travis Hunter being the best of the bunch. The passing game is going to produce multiple big plays throughout the game - it's just something that's going to happen. We're going to have to go shot-for-shot with them as we had to do at Texas Tech.

The defense - while also better than last year - is generally a "bend but don't break" unit. They've created some game-changing turnovers but have also allowed opposing offenses to walk the ball up and down the field on them for large stretches of games.

Vegas is predicting a 31-28 Colorado win (UC is +3 and the o/u is 58.5). I think it's going to be a very good game.
