I didn't have an issue with the play call. Sorsby has to do a better job of putting his head down, hitting the (right) hole hard, and getting 1 yard there.

There's no excuse for the TD at the end though.

I’d have handed it to Corey.

Under 6 minutes left, down 14, letting the play clock go under 10 on every play.

Very winnable game, Sattterfield is a terrible game manager, among other things.

The stark difference between the two passing games was clear as day. Colorado could get whatever they wanted through the air while our downfield passing game was nonexistent. Up until our final TD drive late in the 4th quarter, Royer had 1 catch and Henderson had zero.

I'd agree with this. Sorsby picked the wrong spot on that play.

The following touchdown is exactly what couldn't happen at that point. We had a DB playing Cover 2 and we were not in Cover 2. Blown assignment. Easy touchdown. We were very lucky we got off the field on the Colorado's first drive in the 3rd quarter or the margin of victory would have been a lot worse.

Lots of little things went wrong for UC but I think they played pretty well for a road game at altitude against a very good pass offense.

That was the most one sided announcing crew I've ever heard and Mark Jones is usually better than that. I was almost like they were doing a PR spot for Deion.

Not convinced with 3-4 defence LB are too slow to attack, poor tackling, on the first drive CU players should have been tackled 5-7 yard behind the line of scrimmage. Impressed with CU defence, man to man coverage all contested catches excellent tackling.QB throws were very good excellent receivers.

Sorsby did not play his best and the receivers were mostly outmatched by defenders - very few opportunities to complete passes with many passes broken up. Still UC had a chance to win despite not playing its best. I thought not making it on fourth down late in the first half and the TD that CU scored following that was the difference in the game. Punt the ball there and make CU drive the length of the field with not much time remaining. Maybe CU does not score the TD that ended up being crucial to the outcome.

Some of the worst tackling I’ve ever seen, that
is until the Bengals played the Eagles.
Looked to me the Cats were out athleted.
                          Colorado was pretty impressive.

Look at the number of 5 star players they had. Also, the home crowd, and probably biased refs. Honestly, I thought we would go in there and lose by 25.

WV and TCU are beatable, especially since they are home games.
