Neal Brown in his presser today confirmed that Garrett Greene is doubtful for Saturday and that they will likely start Marchiol at QB.

I think this benefits us because Greene destroyed us on the ground last year and Marchiol doesn’t run as much

I think I'd like to get on the field sometime and see what the acoustics are like these days. It used be before the massive remodel that you could stand on the kicking hash in the horseshoe with a snare drum and do a rim shot. The rim shot seounded like combination of a hollywood bullet from a western and a reeally sharp echo around the stadium. That sound would probably freak people out as a gunshot currently.

I think an exception to rule was the Oklahoma game last season .OU LB Danny Stutsman stated earlier this year that that was the loudest environment he'd been in including Big XII and SEC stadiums.
People think it’s small so it’s not loud, but it sits down in that hole surrounded by campus buildings that bounce the sound back. It is loud.

Bengals could use that guy next year.

I guess I could have put this under Coaching Carousel too but WV has fired its DC and he’ll be replaced by Jeff Koonz. Koonz was the safeties coach at UC under Tuberville and was one of the few bright spots on that staff.
