Both 247sports.com and on3.com have updated lists. Both are sites that paywall a good portion of their information. I don't know if this is blocked.

    • UCF will apparently add Tayven Jackson, QB2 at Indiana this past year.

Jackson (half brother of former Indiana hoops star Trayce Jackson-Davis) was a 4-star Tennessee commit who transferred to IU in 2023 and was competing with Brendan Sorsby before Sorsby emerged as IU's better QB under Tom Allen. He started one game this year and did fairly well in Kurtis Rourke's absence.

In sum, he hasn't proven to be a particularly great QB but might be a decent add for UCF.

        • Miami of Ohio has gotten 3, 4 star players from the portal so far. UC none.

                  • How is Miami getting all these good transfers? Glad we don't play them anymore......

Longtime Miami University quarterback Brett Gabbert is out of eligibility, but the RedHawks will still have a familiar face, this one a former foe, behind center in 2025.

Former Toledo Rockets' starting quarterback Dequan Finn, the 2023 Mid-American Conference Most Valuable Player, has signed with Miami by way of Baylor out of the transfer portal, according to On3sports transfer portal reporter Pete Nakos.

Maybe a MAC QB who couldn't make it at Baylor is not a recruit/transfer that should concern us. If he couldn't make it at Baylor, he isn't P4 material.

Joe Burrow didn't make it at O$U either. Just saying that Miami seems to be recruiting much better players than us.

Burrow was once again hurt at tOSU and didn't really compete in the spring so he lost the job. The man who won the starters job set Big 10 records for single season passing yards and passing touchdowns. Dwayne Haskins became a first round pick. Not quite a fair comparison.

Well Leo, my point is that non P4 Miami of Ohio, is significantly out-recruiting us, with less NIL $$ than we have. CSS does not resonate with this community, and UC FB will suffer until we find a coach that does.
