College football rankings after Week 8: Updated Coaches Poll, AP Top 25 for SEC

As of 9:30, No. 6 Oregon is handing Wisconsin another shutout at 14-0 in the 3rd. No. 9 Miami is crushing Stanford 34-7. No. 20 LSU is ahead of No. 3 TA&M 18-14 at the half. No. 25 Michigan is ahead of MSU 10-7 at the half. No, 19 loserville is up at Boston College 21-17 in the third. No. 17 Tennessee is up on Kentucky 35-21 at the half. Big 12 Houston is up 10 over 24 Arizona State 10-0 at the half.

The Cats are up to #16 in the coaches' poll. The AP hasn't been published yet. The Utes entered the poll @ #24. BYU are #10 and TT are #13.

Somehow, the Midshipmen are now ranked (#23). They're 7-0, so that drew attention. However, they're #82 in Sagarin. Their AAC opponents aren't very strong.

The top 10 remains the same. The biggest winner was Memphis moving up 11 spots. The biggest loser was Oklahoma dropping 7 spots. For the Big 12 to get 2 teams in, there has to be two teams in the top ten.

The Cats are up to #16 in the coaches' poll. The AP hasn't been published yet. The Utes entered the poll @ #24. BYU are #10 and TT are #13.

AP is #17 . Oddly enough, the Satterfield move seems to worked for 2 schools because U of L is 1 spot in front of us

Update:
Loserville lost to Cal in OT. Cal went for it on 4th down and scored the TD to win. That makes 5 teams that were ranked ahead of UC falling (outside of the Big 12).

22 in both polls. During the bye week, we moved into a tie for first place in the Big 12 and moved up 3 spots in the polls. NOW, we just have to win out.
