North Carolina leads the country with 70 new players, and only 39 return players from last year's team. The portal and NIL will destroy this great sport, and there is nothing we can do about it except not buy anymore tickets.

You are correct, the current system of one year free agency is not sustainable. I do believe there will be a solution to unlimited transfers and single year contracts. I'm also sure it won't come soon as the solution will have to cover many issues, most of which are inherited from the year-to-year legacy control of player scholarships. For now, I simply hope these kids are going to classes because the money train will dry up quickly if they're injured or run out of eligibility.
