Continuing to rush 3 and drop 8. Receivers still wide open, or easy scrambles for Daniels. Oy.

That 4th down run was obviously short. No challenge? No review????

I think that the officiating was biased. There were certainly some no-calls against Kansas and the 4 TD's called back because of penalties. I believe that Royer had the TD or at least on the 1-ft line. The officials marked it at the 1-yard line. Also, Royer is out right now because he got tackled by nothing but a helmet landing on his backside. A foot higher, he could have been paralyzed. That should have been a penalty. Oh, the targeting foul that was hit against Sorby's head was not originally called and there was a ref just 5 feet from the play. And just now, with 90 seconds left, Sorsby gets hit late and a helmet to helmet and no call. Now with 1:11 left, the officials took a 38 yard pass away from the Bearcats. The announcers say that the receiver was pushed out of bounds and thus should have been a complete pass.

What a finish. The team is good enough to overcome some really bad defense (two Kansas TDs off the first play of scrimmage), bad calls, etc. They have to clean up their penalties.

1200 yards of combined total offense for KU & UC - crazy. Despite the officiating and penalties 'Cats prevail - amazing.

Several questionable calls went against us, not the least of which was the "block in the back" on Covey's punt return. We managed to pull out a thriller, with the calls going against us, Corleone out, Royer out in the last quarter, etc. Receivers caught everything within reach. We had some great running plays that caught Kansas by surprise. When we were close to the goal line, the line opened up HUGE holes for Walker. A great win in a game that could have gone either way - that's nice for a change.

I agree. That one handed catch saved the game

That wasn’t Royer who was tackled at the goal line. That was Grover.

That was a great win. Kudos to Sorsby and the offense for that last drive. Can't do a whole lot about the officiating but really need to clean up those holding calls. Tackling wasn't all that good and we had too many blown coverages. Hopefully as we go further into the season, these things can be cleaned up and we won't have quite as many nail-biters.

Sounds like I should have stuck with the game instead of giving up. Great win for the 'cats. At least I got some yard work done.

My bad but it was a horrible placement of the ball. Had it crossed the goal line, it was a TD which from my viewpoint, the nose touched the endzone. If it was in the one-foot line, the play call could have been different. Regardless, the Bearcats got called for a holding and did not get a TD.
