      Gritty win by the Cats. Gave up a ton of yards and had 4 TDs called back (!!!) and only one of them was a legit penalty. A terrible spot leads to a KU TD and missed facemasks to boot and we still won. I'm legit shocked we got homered that bad and still have a W.

      First win against a legacy Big XII team in year 3 in the league.

        Not only the terrible spot on that fourth down, but the third lateral on the final play was forward. It didnt ultimately matter, but I never saw a flag either. Definitely some goofy goofy calls.

          Those refs seemed to have been "bought and paid for" by KU. We played a near perfect game, and look at the results. Let's see how we handle Iowa State this week.

            The officiating was horrible yesterday. We had what 3 td's called back on holding calls & they had 1 holding call all game! They could have been flagged for a lot of holding calls & were not.
            I hope we get the same benefits when we play home games!
            Aside from that, a great win yesterday. Offense was great but we need to shore up that defense. It was nice to win a game we weren't supposed to.

                This is very telling and gives me hope to believe we are the 1.5 point favorite against the Cyclones. The Big 12 seems to love them, but maybe, just maybe, we can grab a home win.
                Red and Black are more of an Attitude than merely a color combination.
