  • Big 12 Officiating

Here is a question for all of you. I believe that both the Kansas and Iowa State games were terribly officiated. That UC was on the wrong end of several bad calls. If this is true, three questions: First, is it that the officials are just that bad? or two, has the Big 12 Conference given instructions to the officials to call games to make UC lose? Or three, is it just my imagination that both the Kansas and Iowa State games were poorly called? Will it get better now that UC has won two games in a row?

The officiating was awful today. I don’t know how to explain them other than the refs did not want UC to win the game.

A lot of the calls were terrible, especially the pass interference in the end zone. But, the two ineligible downfield penalties were legit, obvious calls.

If the pass interference call at the end of the first half was wrong, these guys should be fired. I work in an industry that if I was that so wrong, I would be fired.

You have to wonder if the refs had some connection to big bets being placed on the game. They clearly did not want UC to win.

I believe until we are a markee college team with consistent rankings, we will get the shorted end of the stick. It appears the B12 wants the old established teams to do well irregardless of how well one of the newer teams are playing..

But they sure don't mind Houston dominating basketball.
