  • Now I am convinced the refs are into the betting game!

    1. That pass interference call on us allowing UCF to beat the spread was a joke. Our DB didn't even touch the UCF receiver.

    2. All the TD's nullified last week against Iowa State.

    We shall never know, but it sure seems like it.

    Chris, I agree with the pass interference call. When it was shown on the replay screen, it was obviously a bad call. I did not get overly excited because it really did not affect the outcome of the game. I do not gamble so the spread is nothing that I worry about. I do agree that officiating has gotten worse and i do not know if it is legalized gambling or promoting unqualified people.

      Good points, especially about the quality of officiating dropping significantly over the past few years.

        What other explanation can there be for that awful (non) PI call? First off, the DB never touched the receiver. And, any PI was before the ball was thrown and not in the end zone either. Simply disgraceful officiating and I hope the Big XII acknowledges that was an incorrect call.
