OK State coming off a crushing loss to Houston - Cowboys Come Up Short Against Houston, 39-17 - Oklahoma State University Athletics
This should be a win for UC and a bowl clinching win. UC will have to play better against the Cowboys than they did the Knights.

Pet Mundo's take on week 7. UC is at about the 6:30 mark.

And yes, he does bash Big 12 officiating - not in the UC game but other games.

      BTW, this OSU's homecoming.

I was talking to some local TCU fans yesterday and one them said that Ok St. is statistically one of the the worst teams in FBS and we should walk all over them. I not entirely convinced since our last visit to Stillwater was extremely ugly even granted that this is a different team entirely. We've only played them 4 times but the last time we beat the Pokes in Stillwater was 1959.

However, Tulsa hadn't won there since 1951 and beat them this season resulting in Mike Gundy getting the axe.

This graph shows offensive efficiency combined with defensive efficiency for P4 teams. Upper right quadrant is teams with both factors being positive. Lower left is the opposite. Note Okie State's logo buried in the corner.

The latest Sagarin ranking has the Cowboys at #143 nationally. There are 136 FBS programs. 25 FCS teams are ranked ahead of Okie State.

This is a game I fear after the sluggish performance against UCF.

            Road Game - check
            Homecoming for them - check
Coach fired, players playing harder to prove it wasn't their fault - check
Tough/loud stadium with rowdy fans - check

We need to come out early and have a good series of drives on offense and defense. Move the ball and score minimally 13 points first 3 drives, no scores and max 2 first downs for the Cowboys on the first three drives. Then keep the foot on the pedal.
Red and Black are more of an Attitude than merely a color combination.

            Intimidate! Dominate! Celebrate!

UCF is better than OSU. Still, it is their homecoming and they have home field advantage. Might be a "trap" game, but I still think UC wins fairly easily.

Hopefully, UC is beyond being the homecoming game for the rest of the conference in the future.

This week's Big 12 Power Rankings. Yes, it probably should be in the Big 12 News forum but since it lists UC at #2 and OSU at #16.

According to this, the Bearcats are a 21.5-point favorite. If I were a betting man, I do not think that I would take UC with that spread.

Especially since BigXII officials will be calling the game. They will find a way for OkieSt to cover. Take OSU to cover, if you are betting.

At least the Okie State Athletics Department has a sense of humor about their situation:
