That was not the only thing that they missed.

This was a legit test for the Bearats and the stepped up big time. Great to see the success.

Again, UC had a great first quarter. They seemed to let Baylor back into the game. The game never seemed to be in question but Baylor made a game of it. The fourth quarter was the key for UC in this one. This game was one of the few where most of the fans stayed in the seats until the game was over. Again, the student section was terrific. They should win an award this year.

Seemingly every week, we go up big, give up a TD right before half, then the other team receives the ball in the third quarter and scores another TD. And yest again, though, we took a tightening second half game to blow it wide open. Nice to see some turnovers starting to be generated.

For most of the game, I wanted to see more passes. I thought that we were leaving the best part of the offense idle. However, towards the end of the game, I realized that the run game was by design to keep the ball out of their explosive offense. It was a great strategy.

For those who cannot get past the paywall of the Enquirer, just wait a day or two and search the article title. It will come up on MSN. Here is the five takeaways from the game.
