Arizona clearly adjusted to stop the run at half time... and what do we do... run it up the middle over and over for 1-2 yards then punt.
Under Satt, the schedule has worked out so we played the lower tier Big XII teams early in conference play and the upper tier teams at the end of the season. We’ve shown we’re a middle of the pack team that can’t compete with the big boys.

      1 catch for 12 yards
      1 catch for 10 yards
      1 catch for 8 yards

Those have been Royer's stats for the past 3 games. He's had less than 25 receiving yards in 7 of 10 games. The offensive staff's inability to successfully incorporate their biggest receiving weapon into the passing game will go down as one of the season's biggest failures should it not turn around over these last few games.

We did it again. We built a liead & sat on it. They made adjustments, we didn't & lost again. This is all coaching. How many times has this happened over the last 2+ year? We need to move on from this coaching staff.

Why was the 1st play of the game by UC a pass play. Arizona's first play was a rushing play. A rushing play, I believe, acclimates the offense to the game and is quite common throughout football play. Not only was the first play being a pass, it was thrown into double coverage. Sorsby should have recognized it and went for an alternative play. That error of giving Arizona a touchdown score to start the game, may have been the critical play to cause the loss to a very good team.

The issue now, for the remaining 2 games, will be if Sorsby's play will be hindered by his injury or worse yet if he can even play.

I'm hearing reports of up to 7K empty seats at kickoff? Can someone confirm? I was out of town. Noon kickoffs aren't to blame for this, but brand of football might be the more likely cause. Repeatedly failing to make adjustments and changing what's working while it's still working to conservatively sit on leads? This is simply poor coaching. The excessive space between DB and WR, the repeated failure to coach DB's to actually look at the ball (reminds me of Combs later years here) and failure to call 10 targets to Royer? What in the bleep is that? Send Royer out to block, wait 1-2 seconds, then hit him in the flat.

We all know that if Sorsby cannot run, he's done. He's just not good enough to succeed in only one dimension of play. They'll blitz like **** and he'll overthrow, he's shown that time and time again. Good coaching would take a hard look at what man defense does to this team (all of our losses) - if BYU doesn't play much man, they may flip to more of it as a simple coaching move. I don't see this level of intelligence from Satterville and co. The only 2 wins that looked good were aided by absence of star QB (last year, AZ St) and Iowa St this year where there were 14+ injured Cyclones. I'll be there Saturday, but absent a win, my renewal won't occur until the Satterville/Sorsby show is over.
