    This game isn’t over yet.

      My observations:
      - 3 missed field goals.
      - Bad play call on 4th and 1 at the 3 yard line. (It was the exact same play called just earlier.)
      - The Defense played just good enough to assist in the loss. They actually gave up less points than I thought prior to the game.
      - The BYU fans were loud and more enthusiastic during the game than the UC fans.
      - This was a winnable game but just too many mistakes.
      - BYU dominated the time of play.
      - I am so tired of spending my Saturdays watching this team.

Simply awful offensive play calling. I think Zac Taylor and Scott Satterville are the same person. Not a single Royer target until late in the game. Not a single play for Zion. More inconsistent play from Sorsby (that pick was really bad, could have run for 5-7 yard gain). Sorsby isn’t the answer-he buckles under pressure and throws many balls too high. Super obvious running plays (off tackle right 60% of the time. All in all, UC isn’t very talented and is marginally better across the last three years. It’s time to expect more .

My thoughts on the BYU game:

          1. God, please tell them to turn down that awful music (is it really music???). My cousin actually got a headache from it.
          2. Horrible play calling. Pryor makes things happen, and he was used sparingly.
          3. BYU was beatable. UC has some very talented players, but not enough....our PK now has gone "mental", missing 4 of his last 5 FG after going 2 years w/o a miss.... ugh
          4. I still say that CSS is a reincarnation of Dave Curry. He simply can't call creative play action, is boring, and doesn't resonate w/ the city or its media.
          5. 7-5.... Military Bowl versus Old Dominion or somebody similar.
          6. Could have been a good season, but another turd.....CSS needs to go (with John Cunningham).

          B.C.

Another loss. That is 3 consecutive losses. There is a very good chance that UC will lose next week to TCU. That will make 4 straight loses. Remember, UC lost 5 straight games to end the season last year. Is it possible that the same thing will happen this year with 4 straight losses?

Think about this for a second. UC football has not beaten a team with a winning record in the conference this season. All of UC's losses in the conference have been by teams with winning records What does all of that say about UC football?

UC's defense ain't making it. It is probably time to move on to another defensive coordinator. Satterfield is not a popular guy around UC these days. I can understand everybody's frustration. Satterfield cannot beat winning teams in the conference.

Brian Kelly is available. He might be a very good fit for BIG XII football. He knows UC football. I am not promoting the firing of Satterfield. However, Brian Kelly is something to think about. Kelly will probably not be in the job market long. Somebody is going to hire him. He is a very good coach. He may not have been a good fit for the SEC. I think he could win a lot of games in the BIG XII.

            What do you all think?

Nothing new bad defense, bad coaching stupid penalties all pointing to a bad team. Sorsby as usual bad. All coaching staff needs to go.

UC sports the last four years, uninspired, generic, fundamentally dysfunction, unprepared / unwilling / or or other wise incapable of making in game adjustments. Too many coaches and too many players wither, hide or fold against the notable opponents. Same old script, same old channel, same old result.

it is all about big wins for the playoff selection committee. Perhaps a better seed for the BIG12. Of course, UC should have stopped it.

You forgot one. After another failure to win a big game on national tv, CWM needs to start to show something except telling us all that he is "pissed:.

Satterfield is proof that, despite all the talent, coaching is critical in big games. There were many glaring issues with play calling and situational decisions. Satt cannot win the big game.

BYU was ranked where they were for a reason. They took it to the 'Cats. However, the 'Cats also defeated themselves with the missed field goals from a kicker who only missed one FGA all year, the inability to run in short yardage situations with what had been a dominant offensive line, and of course the turnovers. Despite being at a severe disadvantage in time of possession, the 'Cats roughly equaled the total yards of offense in the game. If he makes those three FGs, it would have changed the posture of the game completely. Another loss in November, where UC has been 1-10 under CSS, and a missed opportunity to make an impression on the cobference standings.

I cannot disagree with what everyone is saying...many winnable games this season that turned into losses...effort was there against BYU, but as others have stated execution lacking, dubious play calling...seemingly find new ways to lose each week (missed FGs). Why aren't there more pass route concepts like the ones that produced TDs? Sorsby is a warrior but his play/decision-making has fallen off last few games. 'Cats losing a lot of talent to graduation..not sure about any outgoing transfers..hopefully coach can backfill the roster in any event.

The bad news is Houston appears to be on the rise under Fritz, BYU is BYU and Utah is Utah, TTU has loads of $$$, Arizona appears to have weathered the departure of Jedd Fisch, ASU apparently will pony up the money to keep Dillingham and I don't expect WVU and OSU to be down forever. Baylor has decided to bring back Aranda for 2026 (not sure if that's good or bad)... HC situations at Colorado and ISU...Sanders has health issues and Campbell is rumored for multiple jobs every year.

Win or lose next week this season is essentially over. We will play in the Tedsfurniture.com bowl and half the players will sit out like that embarrassment against Louisville a few years ago. Speaking of Loserville...How can they outspend us and turn things around for football and basketball? They get Pat Kelsey (a Cincinnati guy!) and we get Wes Miller.I am more than frustrated.

you can't leave 16 points on the field against most teams and expect to win.3 missd field goals from m,akeable dstance and you have to score a td when you own the ball on your opomemts 2 yard line.

We loose a ton of great players for next year. If you think this year was tough and ugly, next year will be worse. Time to start rebuilding with a new coach.
