Most of the non conferences game from this weekend went about the they way you'd expect with the notable exceptions of WV, who beat 25 Virginia in Charlotte, and whatever the heck Colorado was doing in Northwestern's temporary stadium on the lake. CU got curb stomped 41-7

I think a lot of 'experts' and those preseason college football magazine publications got a lot of things wrong, namely, WVU is a lot better than expected, OSU - yes, in the NIL and transfer portal era you can turn a team around in a year. Some publications predicted this to be fair, but others did not.
UC - I cannot figure this team out - Miami's WRs running open despite the 'Cats dropping 7 or more into coverage, UC's OL getting manhandled at times. The Miami QB showed a lot of pocket presence, good arm - wonder if a power 4 team will come calling with some $$$ next season??? I liked the resilience of our QB - he's a gutsy player.Comment
