It’s all about $$$$$. College has adopted the MLB model, but worse since every player is a free agent every year. If I want pros I watch the NFL.

I saw a short piece on the news about the startup of Ohio State football. It occurred to me that this was no different from the same newscasts I had seen about the startup of Bengals and Browns seasons. We have at least 3 professional teams in Ohio! Does anybody have any figures out there comparing the annual budgets,payrolls,player payrolls,gross and net income for the tthree? Of greater interest: How much do each of these three contribute in state and local taxes? What kind of tax breaks do each get? What is the economic impact to each of the 3 cities? I can tell you right now that the taxpayers
of Hamilton County are paying for the Bengals stadium. Buckeye stadium was presumably supplied by taxpayers of the state of Ohio.
