'Cats should win this being at home and BC being down BUT NEVER underestimate a coach on the other sideline with NFL experience who can still cobble together a game plan.

I have 3 family members that are BC alums and another one currently in BC Law School so I really need the Bearcats to win this...c'mon Coach Satt pull out all the stops and get off the hot seat!

For those attending the game, UC has announced you can bring in two UNOPENED bottles of water per person on Saturday. Gonna be a hot one!

Chatterbox Sports meets with BC’s reporter to preview the game.

            A few highlights:

🏈 Boston College has better overall depth than last year.

🏈 BC is gambling at quarterback. D-II transfer Mason McKenzie brings mobility and a solid arm, but the big question is how quickly he can adjust to Power 4 competition.

🏈 Positional strengths: The secondary looks like the strength of the defense, while the running back room—led by Liberty transfer Evan Dickens—could be one of BC’s best offensive units.

🏈 Biggest concerns: Tight end has been hit hard by injuries, forcing BC to rely on walk-ons and converted players. Offensive tackle is another question mark.

🏈 More aggressive defense: New defensive coordinator Ted Roof is bringing an attacking scheme designed to generate pressure after BC managed just three sacks last season.

🏈 BC’s path to a win: Sustain long drives, control the clock, limit possessions, and keep the score low.

Prediction: BC reporter AJ Black is projecting a 4–8 season and favors Cincinnati in this matchup.

Good preview of what Cincinnati will be facing.

Speaking of hot. Wear White for this one. That would be a good plan regardless of the request it sounds like.

Is this due to the recent shootings around campus? Are they trying to secure the area just to prevent senseless violence?

Yeah, that’s the excuse. But last night they didn’t close the streets until 10:00 PM. I would hope for a little common sense, since there will still be a lot of traffic after a 3:30 game.

I'm not impressed with what I've seen so far. BC was a 2-10 Team last year and the Bearcats are struggling against them.

Woeful. It looked in scrimmages that we’d struggle to throw the ball. French does not look like the guy. Defense looks better though, but not great. Just a poor game so far.

French appears not to be a quarterback who's going to take us to the next level. Hard to tell just how good the defense is against this Boston College team who was 2 - 10 last year.

To me, it looks like the RB's are the strength of the offense, along with the O-line.

Looks like the Cats are finally shaking the rust off.
