For example, Michigan could be firing Rod next year if his team continues to struggle next year. Don't be surprised to hear speculators saying that BK could be on Michigan's top list.
In theory, BK would be a candidate, but I think if UM fires Rich Rod, they will want a "Michigan man", and not another offensive coach from the Big East with no previous ties to the school.

I know nothing about the site, but you are the first person I've seen say it wasn't reliable.

I have followed this website for several months, and i gotta say, most of what they have reported has been proven accurate.

Very true. Adding to this, if Michigan fires Rich Rod, they are not going to be looking for another spread offense kind of guy. On the top of their list would be Harbaugh and Les Miles.

Looks like Patterson and TCU have come to an agreement on a contract extention. There's another one down.

A contract extension doesn't mean anything and wouldn't stop a coach from leaving. All it really does is show a team's fanbase that the school is trying to keep its coach.

Adam Schefter just tweeted the following:
More Notre Dame chatter (why am I doing this?) Tony Dungy not interested, ND not interested in Brian Kelly, hire will have defensive resume.

It also makes the buyout bigger. I know ND has unlimited money, but its a factor.

No doubt...at least if he does leave, get some $ out of it to better our program.

Is there a podcast from WEBN with BK saying he will be here next year?

Meyer and Stoops both addressed the issue, head-on. Kelly hasn't. No sense getting annoyed with people asking questions if you're not giving anything by way of answers.

You can give it a patriotic name, but it still sucks.

And this is why footballscoop.com isn't a credible source.

According to our source, you can expect an announcement soon and it is almost finalized.
Today Brian Kelly states to a local reporter that he and his agent have begun preliminary, discussion with UC about a new contract.

Footballscoop basically cribbed the story off the UC rival site and ran with it as their own.

And you believe what the coach is saying to a reporter?
UC rivals site is hardly the posterchild for timely reporting or getting a scoop
