I hope like everyone else does that BK stays at UC. That being said, no matter what coach is here (ala Bob Huggins), I will always be a UC fan more than the fan of the coach! If BK leaves for Notre Dame, I hate them now and I will hate them then, not because of BK. I also will not root for them more because of BK, just like I didn't root for Kansas St. after hugs left. I say if he goes, he goes, until then....lets kick Florida's a$$!!! See you in New Orleans

Sounds to me like Kelly is open to leaving for the right opportunity, but no one have offered him that opportunity yet.

I imagine he takes the ND job if offered, but I don't think they are going to make the offer.

I really dont think he is going anywhere. He told his players he isnt going anywhere and he even went out of his way to say he isn't a Mark Dantonio. I believe in BK and can't wait for the Sugar Bowl!!!

Very interesting comments on ESPN tonight. Very well coached and prepared for the question. After disecting the comments, I think he will not go to Notre Dame, but is leaving the door open for an opportunity like Florida or Oklahoma should something like that become available. It does seem weird however that he would tell the players he's staying, but won't state that publicly.

Flying back from Pittsburgh would take as long if not longer when yiu consider all of the logistics involved. Bus to the airport, get through security and check-in, fly to NKY, deplane, board buses, drive to campus.

I saw the ESPN interview. My gut feeling was that BK wasn't telling the "whole story", especially when he talked about the "right opportunity", and going to a place with "tradition". This was his chance to say, "I am NOT leaving!"

Sure, politics plays into everything in life, but I do not think ND would say no to BK just because he is "pro-choice".

I still believe that there is a reasonable chance that by this time tomorrow, BK will be off to ND. Hope I am wrong, but I just have that feeling.

Agree with you, until shown otherwise I am starting to question some of the straight shooting here. NO WAY does he get the fun coaching challenge of going against Urban Meyer in the Sugar Bowl to go 13-0 if he does leave though, I would rather have Cronin field the job than let him reap that reward while leaving the ship.

BK, again, drops the "It's about the program, not me," line --

About 1,200 UC fans showed up at Fifth Third Arena on Sunday night to watch the BCS selection show and chanted Kelly’s name as he walked onto the floor to address them.

“It’s humbling and awkward at the same time,” Kelly said. “It’s more than just one person. It’s taking a program that, let’s face it, the support was out there. It just needed to be generated, it needed to be cultivated, massaged, whatever you word you want. It’s not necessarily about me. It’s about the passion that Cincinnatians have for college football and boy is that great to see.”

You can give it a patriotic name, but it still sucks.

Its not like they all priceline a flight and battle parking and shuttle rides.
When you fly with a team it is all prearraged and stream lined by a school traveling coordinator. I have flown and bussed with a team and it isnt necessarily the time that is nice, it is the convenience, luxury, reliability and safety that makes the difference.

Even after yesterday in Pittsburgh, I felt subdued by the fact that only thing ESPN focuses after the game was on Kelly and ND. I just want this over - in or out, OVER! Tonight, I was at the BCS party on campus, and what an opportunity to announce an extension, or to say, I"m staying. I just have a bad feeling and I was pretty optimistic last week. I'm hoping that he stays...but i'm also drained watching it.

FWIW, I know his wife has no desire to leave Cincy and has told him he can go if he wishes but she is not leaving.
