agree with that.

Why stop there? Add BC and Maryland or Temple (maybe Temple vs. UCF) for a 12 team conference. Play 8 conference FB games and 16 conference BB games.

You'd have to do some serious work on Maryland's AD and alums to pry them out of the ACC for hoops alone -- UConn and Syracuse are good, but it's nothing like playing with Duke and North Carolina. Terps fans are hoops-crazy, so I doubt the prospect of better football would interest them.

Otherwise, it's an interesting conference. Hate the name though -- I'd go with the Metro Athletic Conference -- MAC-12 or MET-12 for short.
