People are idiots. I'm a huge Cincinnati fan, but Florida is doing to Cincinnati what they should be doing. Cincinnati was in Conference USA a couple of years ago.

I would have loved to see Cincinnati beat Florida down...but the realist in me knew that our hopes were pinned to Florida's desire to play this game to begin with.

Florida is on an entirely different level with athletes. Florida has better athletes at every single position along with depth- they are elite.

Bottom line is UC needs to start recuiting athletes. You can develop football players but its tough to develop athletic football players. You guys are seeing why 4 and 5 star players are very important to a program. We just don't have enough of them.

Judging from what I heard on ESPN all year, the perception of Cincinnati is that we were vastly overrated and could not compete with the big boys. This game is not hurting that perception, it is confirming it.

To bobestes, I back up superjames 100%. When he originally came onto this board, he made no bones that his favorite team is WVU but that he also follows UC as well. Nothing he has said in this thread is untrue. I respect him for his honesty and he has not flamed this board in any way. To superjames, I continue to welcome your opinion as I am sure others on this board do as well.
