NC St. game thread

For three weeks now our players have looked confused on both sides of the ball. Maybe the family approach is not working. It is past the time to tighten down the screws, and add a sense of urgency. This team is too complacent, and gets deflated by a series of bad plays. We all knew the transistion would not be seemless. They were installing new terminology, a new form of the spread offense, and trying to make the defense better. With that said practice is not a time for popular music, joking with the players, and coaching staff. It is a time to get the game plan in, and to be serious about the preperation for the game. If you joke around at practice, and don't prepare seriously that is how you will play in the game, and the last 3 games have shown a lack of preperation on the University of Cincinnati's behalf. I squarely place the blame on the coaches and team leadership. Hopefully the turnover in the endzone, and the substanial drive after will "right the ship."

In years past when someone did something wrong BK would get HOT and would not hesitate to get in their face about it. Now someone does something wrong and they show Butch on the sidelines and he is just standing there by himself looking sad.

we are indeed getting a lot of penalties called. Note to the refs: we're getting killed, hold onto the flags for a play or two, wouldja? Or at least call something on NCST every once in a while, so it looks even.
