Here's my problem with Butch. You aren't these players friends. You be-friend them and they will walk all over you and not listen to you. Hence why our guys have no discipline. They screw up and they will get corrected but at the end of the day they're a family. It's all a load of BS. You are a coach and have to put the players in their place when they need it. Not coddle them.

I thought it was funny how all the stories were "he's so cool! BK was nothing like THIS!"

Um, BK took you to two BCS bowls.

Tell that to Jimmy Johnson and the Miami teams of the late 80's. It's easy to call the approach into question when we're not playing well. If we were, I doubt anyone would find fault with it.

Did Jones put Combs under wraps? His secondary is on pace to give up over 500 yds passing?

I haven't seen much of CBJ, but I didn't really like what I saw in the MAC championship game last year. Like I said before, an NFL QB in the MAC makes you look pretty smart all by himself.

I am not saying he won't be a good coach, but I think he will look back at this and wish he did things different. This is only his 4th year as a head coach.

The pro's and college are two different animals. A college team is only as good as their coach. The NFL has the top echelon skill players than can get around an iffy coach.

Jimmy Johnson coached the Miami HURRICANES. How old are you?

To be a late hit, doesn't there have to be a hit, or some contact? Wtf?
