Say the scenario of winning the big east is even possible (which at this point, beating WVU, Pitts, or UConn seems like a long shot), I can't see this team beating anyone they would face in a BCS bowl... Granted, that comment is based on how they are playing right now, and to make the BCS, theyd have to play much better, but it would not feel good to lose 3 BCS bowls in a row. Would not look good for UC, would not look good for the conference.

Ohio State nearly did it and they're doing just fine. Notre Dame didn't win a bowl in a decade and they have the foundation to rise up again.

BCS bowl bids pay big money and I would cherish any invite we could get at this juncture of building this UC program.

Speaking of conference play, if anyone wants to unload a pair of tickets to the UC-South Florida game I'm in the market. One bright spot about the performance of the team, the ticket prices will likely be coming down. PM me.

So.......what then. To please people who want the score to accurately reflect "what?", UC should just give up? Not sure what your trying to say? Ever play a sport?
