In the Beavers’ 4-run 7th, Googins gambled by intentionally walking OSU’s best player (projected as #1 overall MLB draftee) with the bases loaded to cut the lead to 5-3. The relief pitcher had a bad inning, both before & after that gamble.Comment

Exciting game for those of us that stayed up late to watch the finish. Bumpass will remember that night for the rest of his life. 5-for-5 with a HR and a triple to drive in the go-ahead run. The Bearcats seem to be clicking at just the right time. Let's hope the Cinderella run can continue again against Michigan tonight.
