UC played in Richmond at VCU tonight and were in a frog-strangler. Trailing, 56-54, inbounding at :08, they scored in the lane at :04, then stole the ball and Angel Risor hit a jumper at the buzzer for the 58-56 road win.

UC withstood a late charge by Temple at home this afternoon and took down the Owls, 86-81. Antoinette Miler led four double-digit scorers with 21. Angel Rizor and Ilmar'I Thomas each scored 19, while Sam Rodgers tallied 13.

The Cats are 13-6 (4-2 in the AAC). Next up: at UConn (#3) Thursday night at 7:00.
