Today, in things you wish you hadn't just read, Congress wants to get involved with the infractions process of the NCAA. I don't mean they want to take it over, they want to set the rules on what, when and how long the process is.

One thing for sure is that no matter how this turns out, the fact that the Congress is getting involved at all is a huge black mark on Mark Emmert. Emmert is a failed leader simply becuase he's afraid to disturb the NCAA cash cow.
