I'm going to post the link to an article regarding the College Football Hallf of Fame this morning ($). The article is mostly about the rules for getting into the HOF and it doesn't specifically address UC. The author goes in depth on the process to get in. The reason I'm posting it becuase the entrenched arguments and rules in the article remind me a lot of UC fans' arguments over the years about whether such and such a player deserves to be in the Ring of Honor or have their number retired in 5/3. It's the same argument. These are the rules and we're sticking to them because they've always been this way and we can't change them.
The usual question for UC is why are our rules so strigent and why don't we chnage them? To be honest, we've beaten this topic to death here and elsewhere over the years but it's interesting to see a similar issue play out in another organization and see how they handled it.
