Future Saudi PIF Involvment in NCAA Sports?

This article, for someone who despises Saudi involvement in professional golf (because of their extensive human rights violations), poses a very real negative possibility that the Saudi PIF will try to muscle into NCAA sports, particularly NIL deals. (The Athletic; $):

Without wading into the politics of this, this might eventually happen but I think the cash cows for them are pro sports right now.

I’m not sure the college model has the same ROI as pro teams do because they can’t flat out own the team/school and profit directly from anything they’d put into NIL.
