53 man roster cuts are happening today. It's still early in the day but I have not any of our guys cut today. They have until 4:30

The Raiders have not announced yet for some reason so nothing to report on Johnny Holton. Mckale Mckay appears to have made the roster at Tennessee.

I was reading something on a Viking board that they think Eric Wilson will end up in the rotation of regular linebackers. That's pretty unbelievable for an UDFA. He's not one of those guys that wows with size/times, but he's always around the ball. His career will be interesting to watch.

Tion Green's 74 yard TD. He did all of it himself (with some good blocking).

I was thinking Tion's big run would have been unlikely at UC. Anytime he got downfield that far at UC he would get caught from behind by DBs. Funny what proper strength and conditioning can do.

Mekale McKay was activated from IR then cut by the Titans.

Tyreek Burwell was cut by the Chargers.

Mke Tyson was a Seattle practice squad addition.

I did see that McKay got an injury settlement - he has a hamstring injury - and is now free to be picked-up by any team.

Good news for Sycamore HS/UC tackle Justin Murray - he was a Practice Squad pickup by Tampa Bay.

I'm sure it's happened before, but it's pretty rare when 3 undrafted free agents from one school(even with a losing record last year) make 53 man rosters in the Nfl. Our talent level wasn't that bad.
