MSU is a hot mess right now betwewen the Nassar gymnastics scandal and the sexual assault issue with athletes . The latter looks like its going to swallow Dantonio's job. if you haven't read the ESPN OTL investigation of MSU here it is:

You have a Penn St. style coverup of Nassar's assaults and then throw a Baylor case involving athletes in on top of it. Complete failure from leadership at MSU in my opinion. So far the President and AD have resigned. The President had the gall in resigning to blame her downfall on politicized reporting, which is tone deaf garbage.
Dantonio will likely be next to resign which sucks for him considering this was his dream job. Based on the info in the OTL report Im not sure if Dantonio is truly at fault or just received crappy guidance from his superiors. It looks bad for him either way.
