Yeah somebody on Reddit spotted this:

Kerr on Jacob Evans: "We look at him as a pg now... I know that Andre and Shaun both really like him. They like the fact that he can make plays, see the game, big and strong. I think we're going to give Jacob every opportunity to handle the ball next year." (@TheAthleticSF)

Jacob sustained an oblique injury a couple of nights ago and is currently out but expected back soon. Can't come soon enough for the Warriors as Klay Thomason is out for the season and Steph Curry just broke his hand last night.

Golden State announced this morning they had picked up the option for the 3rd year on his rookie contract.

Evans played last night for the first time since late October. Two points in 11 minutes for the 5-20 Warriors.

OUCCHHH! Jacob caught an elbow last night and as a result has a concussion and a broken nose. Once he's out of concussion protocol he's going to wear a mask for a while per Warriors PR.

Appears to be headed to Minnesota in big trade that includes D'Angelo Russell to Minnesota, Andrew Wiggins and picks to GSW

Jacob will need to work his way into the T-wolves rotation in practices. Side note, his T-Wolves page lists his hometown as Jacksonville, NC. I thought we recruited him from Louisiana, New Orleans area. Could Jacksonville be current home or was that his birthplace?

Hopefully he can get some PT and put up some stats, no matter how bad NYK could be (think SK on some of the subpar franchises he played for). If not, his NBA days are definitely numbered.
