I know thru 3 quarters he has not played. Maybe he has an injury.

He didn't play again today. He must be nursing and injury. I'd be surprised not being used in a summer league game.

Have to agree that something's up. He was in street clothes last night.

Based on an Athletic story from Shannon Russell and a couple of other sources ran across. Gary is in fact not injured but it's from surgery in April. It was his ankle and he's rehabbing. . He is out for Summer League. I hope that doesn't hurt him come roster time. Rockets lost a forward in Trevor Ariza in Free agency and Capela the starting center is a restricted free agent. They will apparently be signing Carmelo Anthony as soon as he officially parts ways with OKC.

Very good article on Gary from Houston's beat writer. Sounds like Gary knows that he has a great opportunity and is looking to take full advantage of it. I'm impressed with the Rocket's coaching staff and they're commitment to developing their players.

He could have a very good, Shane Battier type career. And, like Shane, he's a smart, really nice man.

Houston converted his contract to a 2 way. He’ll start with the Rockets and move to G league if necessary after Nov. 2
