Interesting story from Justin WIllams on KJ. KJ is doing the broadcasting thing. I have not personally heard him but secondhand I've heard he's good at this and this is probably his future career.

Summit defeated Miami Valley Conference rival Clark Montessori to win the Ohio High School Athletic Association Division V, Region 20 championship Saturday at Wright State University’s Nutter Center.

Summit (17-7) is in the state semifinals for the first time since winning that championship in 2012, and fourth time overall. Clark finished 17-9.

The Summit Country Day School has announced that Kevin Johnson Jr. is the school’s head coach for boys’ varsity basketball beginning July 1, 2023. Johnson is a 2013 graduate of The Summit.

This whole Hughes thing is weird. First Satterfield and now KJ. It’s almost like someone didn’t follow proper procedure during the hirings.

I am still curious about the Satterfield situation. When they announced someone else was taking over as head coach, Johnson was still mentioned as staying on as an assistant. Who knows...
