The Summit Country Day School has announced that Kevin Johnson Jr. is the school’s head coach for boys’ varsity basketball beginning July 1, 2023. Johnson is a 2013 graduate of The Summit.

This whole Hughes thing is weird. First Satterfield and now KJ. It’s almost like someone didn’t follow proper procedure during the hirings.

I am still curious about the Satterfield situation. When they announced someone else was taking over as head coach, Johnson was still mentioned as staying on as an assistant. Who knows...
