    Mike Mickens

    Mickens has been targeted by ND for their open Cornerback coaching spot. We really need to retain him. That group has made a lot of progress in the last couple of years.

    Also, the MSU corners spot is also open after Dantonio's guy jetted for AZ St.

        The good assiatant coaches need to move on to better opportunities, sad as it is for us. Mickens did a great job with our defense backfield and we can all hope that Fickell can find a quality replacement. Good luck to Mickens at ND!

          Nah, ND is a good job that will let Mike learn and grow, plus he is reunited with his coach, which is kinda cool even with how he left Clifton. It sucks for us. Good luck Mike, we wish you well.

            Good luck to Mike! He has been good for UC both as a player and a coach. Maybe he will return someday, older and wiser, to coach the Cats in a different position.

              Mike Mickens, still on staff at Notre Dame, is joining Tony Pike and others as part of the 2025 James P. Kelly UC Athletics Hall of Fame Class

                  I have been asking for Him as HC for a while now. He will have the experience in a top program. He has the fans too.
