    Mamoudou is off to Lebanon (the country) per his Twitter account. He's signed with Antranik for the coming season.

        I'm not so sure that's the best place for him to go. Lebanon is extremely unstable. While there's a government (in theory), it holds little sway. An Iranian-backed terrorist army, Hezbollah, runs the country. Full-scale war with Israel is a strong possibility.

        Anyway, back to basketball. I hope it turns out well for him.

          I thought the exact same thing this morning when I was posting this.

          I had the same thought about Octavious Ellis playing in Russia last season. I was pretty relieved when he came back for TBT this summer

            Per Instagram, Mamoudou will be playing for Mali in the 2025 AfroBasket competition set to take place in Angola from August 12th - 24th.

            Mamoudou is currently playing in the Smith League.
