RIP Brent Petrus

Per Brad Jackson’s Twitter, Brent Petrus died. “Pete” was Jackson roommate in college. Petrus was a QB with the football team and a second sport walk-on basketball player in the Huggins’ era.

I don’t have any other details to pass along at this time.

Brent Michael Petrus, 46, of Elyria, passed away at his home on March 20, 2022, following his battle with epilepsy.

My understanding is that he is the only person in UC history to throw a touchdown, catch a touchdown and score for the basketball team!
