There is a very interesting Twitter conversation going on between Nysier Brooks, Mike Rehfeldt and others at UC. After leaving UC, Brooks transferred to Miami and sat a year, played a year at the U and then transferred to Ole MIss via the portal. He's been posting things about Wes Miller and the program for a week. If he's got eligibility left (Grad transfer/ COVID?) he fills an immediate need.

Perhaps more importantly he has experience in the expectations surrounding the program so even if this is a Grad Asst. move, you bring him home.

Oh I agree. I rmember being seriously worried about his academics coming in because of the school that he went to here in Texas after his commitment. Turns out academics are a strong point and he likely has a master's degree by now from Miami. I really do think he has one more year because of Covid but I'm not sure. Can't imagine athletics and trying for a PhD would work out all that well though.
