    Whew. That sounds better.

I think you’re right. If he plays in Portsmouth, his college career is over. I was hoping he’d stay, but this is not a surprise.

I can't fault a kid who would be in his 6th year of school testing all options. He was a very good pickup for us, and it will be interesting to see if they have an understanding with him on holding his scholly for a period or they move forward. My guess is the former.

I honestly think this the right move for him. It’s win-win for him. He gets evaluated by pro scouts and goes pro at some level if he’s ready. If they evaluate him and tell him he needs to work on things, he comes back and presumably we throw NIL money at him. Nice situation to find yourself in.

"a chance to return to the university of Cincinnati" not college. Nice. Either way it never a bad thing to have a guy drafted.

Also says he "loves playing here" (heart emoji) and says "only 4 home games (sad emojis) left this year"

UC is making good progress and has some good recruits in the pipeline for next year. But the key to the 2023-24 season would clearly be Landers Nolley using his final year of eligibility and leading this team into the Big 12. He does turn 23 in March and obviously has a daughter, for what it's worth - though he could easily rack up some solid NIL money.

Wouldn't mind having this guy back at all next yr. Look forward to seeing what he does next game. Looks as if his confidence is peaking at the right time. Jelling into the offense without taking shots away from other scoring options seems to have slowed his process. I like his game and seems to be able to handle #1 scoring option role.

Scott Springer has always been a great writer & covered the Bearcats extremely well. I'm glad he's back as our beat writer.
Hopefully Landers stays another year as we transition into the Big 12.
