Interesting that Desmond mentions his HS coach

He's struggling, wish I could watch it but the stats aren't good. At least no turnovers so far

The Falcons are running well now and Desmond is hitting his TE, but Desmond has picked up some firsts with his feet.

Desmond has the ball with 6 minutes left and trailing by 3. Let's see if he can pull this game out.

Desmond hits his man on a fourth down and the ball got punched out to the Saints.

Desmond ran and didn't realize time was out. Saints win

Hopefully, this is something that Des can learn from and become better. It was a difficult situation to put him in since he had not played a snap the entire season.

I didn't catch the game but the stat line looks pretty average to poor. Dalton didn't fair much better to be honest. Outside of Drake London and Des, I only know about 3 of these players on the Falcons side of the box. They're really young and in rebuild mode.

He started out nervous and gained some composure.
He was really going to one receiver and he ran some.

Take away the 14-0 first quarter and it was a game.
